Inside Soap UK|6 - 2022SOAP’S SHOCK SHAKE-UP!The longstanding ‘gentleman’s agreement’ between the soaps to avoid scheduling clashes has been blown out of the water by ITV, following a major shake-up of its weekday line-up – triggering an all-out ratings war.From March, the ITV Evening News will run for a whole hour from 6.30pm – shifting Emmerdale into a new 7.30pm slot every weekday.
