Why Should I Summon Greylorm

advertisem*nt

You should go out of your way to summon and fight Greylorm because once the fight is done, you're guaranteed one of three legendary schematics.

How To Summon Greylorm

You'll first need to go to one of two spots to summon the worm. The first place can be found inside the building at C1.

When you get inside, you'll see a map of Urzikstan with four smaller pictures around it.

The other location can be found inside a building at H2, at the military base.

advertisem*nt

As soon as you get to the building, enter through the north side, and you'll see another map of Urzikstan with four smaller pictures around it.

It's worth pointing out that both locations will share the same exact pictures. So you don't need to visit both.

advertisem*nt

At first glance, these photos may look pointless, but they're actually specific locations throughout the map. These pictures will lead you to checkpoints, and when you get there, you'll need to interact with a laptop to receive a USB Stick.

advertisem*nt

After you interact with a stick, you'll receive USB Sticks called: Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, and Delta.

It's also worth mentioning that you can't exfil with the USB Sticks. Once you have them all, make sure you use them before the game ends.

Once you get all four, you'll need to find the station where you'll insert all four USB Sticks. If you're having trouble finding it, all you need to do is look for the storm on the map. Now that you've found it look around the immediate area until you find two ammo caches next to each other.

All that's left for you to do now is play the game as you normally would and wait for the storm to take over the map. As soon as that happens, you'll be able to place the USB Sticks inside the Refractors, and this will summon the Greylorm.

Recommended Items For Fighting Greylorm

Fighting Greylorm will require a lot of firepower. That said, having some of the best equipment is ideal when you fight Greylorm.

Listed below are all the items we recommend you take with you:

advertisem*nt

  • PHD Flopper (perk)
  • Tombstone Soda (perk)
  • Quick Revive (perk)
  • Speed Cola (perk)
  • Stamin-Up (perk)
  • Jugger-Nog (perk)
  • Elemental Pop (perk)
  • Deadshot Daiquiri (perk)
  • One Legendary Tier Weapons
  • Wunderwaffe
  • Two Level 3 Pack A Punch Guns
  • Large Rucksack
  • Self-Revive (Have at least three in your Rucksack)
  • 3 Plate Vest
  • Durable Gas Mask
  • Decoy Grenade
  • Juggernaut (Have at least three in your Rucksack)
  • Sentry Turret (Have at least one in your Rucksack)
  • Golden Armor Plate

Having the Durable Gas Mask is vital for this fight.

Greylorm Walkthrough

The second you place all four USB Sticks in the device Greylorm will appear from the ground. We recommend placing some turrets down to give an extra boost in damage when Greylorm first comes out of the ground.

It's also worth mentioning that while fighting Greylorm, two ammo caches will be next to you. In addition to refilling your ammo, these will also refill your gas mask. So make sure they are fighting the giant worm. Because if you don't, the storm will kill you.

Now, when it comes to Greylorm's main attacks, he'll rotate between the following attacks during the fight.

advertisem*nt

  • Slam Attack
  • Digs In The Ground And Reappears - If this attack hits you, it'll send you flying in the air.
  • Laser Attack
  • Shoots Orbs That'll Attack You Until They're Destroyed - This only happens when Greylorm is at half health.
  • Eat You - To counter this attack, shoot its mouth before it finishes the attack.

Most of its acts are difficult to predict. But you'll know when it's about to shoot a laser beam out when you see its head look up. As soon as that happens, its body will begin to glow red, and shortly after that, it'll shoot its laser.

Like the Red Worm, there won't be much room you can use for cover. So, if you're playing by yourself, you'll need to constantly be moving because the second you stand still, you'll leave yourself open for an attack.

advertisem*nt

Similar to the Orcus fight, Greylorm will have giant red spots that will glow. This is Greylorm's weak spot, so you'll inflict even more damage if you shoot it. That said, you can still damage it even if you don't shoot the red spots. But it'd be in your best interest to shoot them when you can.

While fighting Greylorm, you'll also have to deal with normal and special zombies when the worm appears, but they'll all be buffed because of the storm. So, if you find yourself getting overrun by them, don't panic. When that happens, throw a Decoy Grenade to lure them away from you or use your Wunderwaffe to kill them all at once.

If you have more than one person with you for this fight, make sure you're both split up so that you don't have a large crowd chasing you both, and ensure the worm doesn't attack you both with a single hit.

Since there's virtually no cover during this boss fight, there's a good chance you'll get knocked down. If that happens, don't bother calling in your teammates to revive you; simply use one of the many self-revive kits you have. This is why we recommended earlier to have so many on hand.

While fighting Greylorm, the stormcaller will appear, and although it may be easier said than done. Have one of your teammates attack it with the Wunderwaffe. Because if it's not dealt with, it'll buff all the zombies around it and make things more challenging for you.

After you kill Greylorm, it'll begin raining worm guts. A reward rift will appear with items inside, and you'll be able to exfil via a portal.
